ABOut THIS TREND

This style has its origins in the principles of the Bauhaus and the early grotesque typefaces from the 1880s onwards. It is strongly based on clear design grids and precise typography.Sans-serif fonts such as Helvetica, Univers, Unica and later Frutiger played a central role. Swiss typographers such as Josef Müller-Brockmann, Max Miedinger and Armin Hofmann had a decisive influence on this style, which is why it is also known as the “Swiss International Style”.
